Outback Tubs are categorised as “spa baths” that are filled and drained each use. These do not usually require fencing or council approval, but each council differs, so best to check with yours if you’re not sure.
How long does it take to heat?
Outback Tubs can take between 60-120 minutes to heat up depending on whether you're using the cover (cover on heats faster), how often you stoke the fire and the starting temperature of the water.
Does the Outback Tub need power? No — the tub heats with a wood-fired coil. You’ll want a hose tap nearby for fill/top-ups.
How fast can I get it?
We cap bookings at 15 per month to keep schedules tight. Typical lead time is 2–4 weeks or less (seasonal). Standard installs are often completed in a day. State-to-state shipments usually take an additional ~12 business days.
What wood should I use?
Dry, seasoned hardwood is best for efficient heat and minimal smoke. We include safe-firing instructions in your guide.
What if I change my mind after paying the deposit?
No problem — fully refundable for 7 days.
What does “standard install” include?
White Glove/Designer include earth levelling and a compacted gravel base, plus full install of the coil. Complex access, major groundworks, or custom deck designs are quoted if needed.
